The cast and crew of the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton are getting back to work after gunfire broke out right next to their film set.

According to TMZ, filmmakers were on location at the Compton Courthouse last week when someone fired shots from a passing vehicle.

Apparently, the shooter wasn't targeting the crew, but was shooting at someone nearby who reportedly flashed gang signs at the car.  A person not involved in the filming was hit, but survived their injuries.

Police are looking into the shooting.  Straight Outta Compton will continue filming this week in another part of town.
