A 48 year old man is in critical condition after a family argument went bad in a hurry in a south side home this morning.

1200 WOAI news reports police were called to the 200 block of Montrose, which is off South Presa Street, on a result of an assault.

When officers got there, they found a man who had been stabbed.

Witnesses told detectives the man had a confrontation with other family members in a home in the 200 block of Dullnig, which is about two blocks away.

The man staggered to the home on Dullnig with a stab wound in the shoulder, but then collapsed in front of the Motrose Street house due to blood loss.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.   When police went to the Dullnig Street house, surprise, nobody was there.
