Electric Fiesta: Rocky Horror Picture Show

The Electric-Fiesta is set to take place in San Antonio, Texas from October 29 to November 1, 2020 at the Freeman Coliseum grounds. Following the success of San Antonio’s first multi day socially distanced drive-in event (EDM Drive-In, this past June), the team at Electric-Fiesta has announced The Electric-Fiesta Drive-In Week(ender) just in time for Halloween fun.

The festivities kick off Thursday, October 29, 2020 Thursday October 29, 2020 - The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Non-Essential Comedy.

We could ALL use some comedic relief right about now, so we are happy to announce that

Comedians Chris Kattan (Saturday Night Live, Night At the Roxbury, Mango), Skyler Stone (Comedy Central’s Con, FOX’s Raising Hope) and Texas own internet sensation, Jon “PolarBear” Gonzalez will kick off this night by sharing some laughs.

Following the Comedy, A Special Screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show & Sing-a-Long will take place. Unlike other film screenings, this show will be an immersive experience and will include live theatrical performers, stilt walkers, fire breathers, Kristi Waters (as Dr. Frank-n-Further) and is hosted by back-to-back and reigning Miss Gay Texas, Taryn Taylor.

Fans are encouraged to attend in costume….so, Let’s do the Time Warp Again!

Fans will be treated to the heavy-hitting sounds of Virtual Riot, Etc! Etc!, Crizzly, Coast Club and a lucky opener from an upcoming dj submission contest.

Saturday, October 31, 2020 – EDM Drive-In

Saturday lineup features: Cash Cash, Lady Faith, Henry Fong, RoRoll, and Nick Ledesma

+ a local drive-thru deejay stage + theatrical performers + epic full color lasers.

Nightly fireworks will close out both nights. The fireworks are a unique highlight of EDM Drive-In and have yet to be replicated in the United States.

Sunday, November 1, 2020 – Darkside of the Drive-In: A Think:EXP live music social distancing experience featuring the music of Pink Floyd. Performing live Dark side of the Moon + hits are:

Scott Page (Pink Floyd), Kenny Aronoff (John Mellencamp), Kenny Olson (Kid Rock), Norwood Fisher (Fishbone), Roberta Freeman (Pink Floyd), Will Champlin (The Voice), Derek Day and special appearances by Texas Pink Floyd.

Accompanying the music performances, is the world debut collaboration of video, lights and lazers with Visual Symphony and NuSalt.

Two shows: 7PM and 10PM

SAFETY FIRST - Those we attended our first EDM Drive-in, know we take safety very seriously and we will continue to follow the strict guidelines for best safety practices implemented by the World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, we are working closely with the Freeman Coliseum and local officials to ensure our fans are as safe as possible. Complementary Masks will be made available for all attendees of Electric-Fiesta.

Who’s watching me? Live cameras warp fans into phantoms right before your eyes.

FIVE massive LED screens for viewing no matter where you park.

Roaming themed carriages (golf carts) with ghastly ghouls’ patrol isles.

Look for “Mr. Sanitizer X” disinfecting the stage and equipment squeaky clean.

Restrooms are sanitized after each use. Sanitizer safely provide before and after restroom use.

Masks are 100% required for each person to wear. If you need one, we got you covered.

A working FM radio is required for maximum fun. The event is rain or shine.
