April 5: What To Do This Week in SA

What a week we have ahead of us - plenty of live music, comedy to go around, a couple of festivals, we've got a little bit of everything for everybody.

Tom Segura En Español.@Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club (Tuesday).Actor, writer, and one of the funniest in the game, Tom Segura is bringing his all-Spanish stand-up special to LOL. 

All You Can Eat Pizza @ Playland (Wednesday). Ten dollars for all-you-can-eat pizza every Wednesday at this downtown eatery. Check out their menu here.

Poteet Strawberry Festival. The 74th annual celebration of harvest season + local Strawberry Growers and Farmers featuring live music, carnival rides, fireworks, and more. Festivities are all weekend beginning Friday. See the full schedule here.

Charley Crockett @ John T. Floore Country Store.  A weekend with the country crooner plus special guest Dale Watson at the historic Helotes venue.

National Beer Day @ The Dooryard (Wednesday). Celebrate the best day of the year at San Antonio's first self-serve taproom. An outdoor movie and a very special brew will also be featured.

The Michael Alanis Band @ LUNA (Sunday). Free backyard concert featuring LUNA's newly renovated space plus the soulful sounds of Michael Alanis and his band. 

Spring Concert Series: Michael J. & The Foxes @ The Cherrity Bar (Thursday). Indie-folk meets honky-tonk in the open-air patio, complete with drink specials plus Japanese-inspired eats b yKuriya.

Jose Amador and Terra Nova @ Jazz, TX (Wednesday). An intimate night of Latin jazz with legendary bandleader Jose Amador, plus Jazz, TX's new food and drink menu.

Vincent Neil Emerson, Summer Dean, and Kathryn Legendre Live @ The Lonesome Rose (Sunday). A late afternoon outdoor performance of acoustic songs and stories by Texas musicians at the oldest honky-tonk on the St. Mary's Strip.

9th Annual San Antonio Book Festival. Three days of virtually celebrating ideas, books, libraries, and literary culture. Free and family-friendly.
